EROCK Sunrise to Sunset

  • Philip S. Miller Park (map)

WHAT IS SUNRISE TO SUNSET?

The 2018 Subaru ERock Sunrise to Sunset is designed to offer recreational and competitive cyclists the opportunity to compete in a fun and rewarding 12 hour endurance race on a moderately technical off-road course. Register as an individual or form a team that loves to shred for a memorable day of racing, cameraderie and laughs.

Taking place again at the freshly cut trails of the Philip S. Miller Park in Castle Rock, this amazing $30M facility offers the perfect endurance mountain bike venue less than a mile from the Primal Colorado Bike Expo and Subaru Elephant Rock Cycling Festival.  The playful and flowy 6.5 mile course is cut into to the hills and drainages surrounding the park and offers ample viewing from the staging area for team members and spectators.

START TIME

The race will start at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2 and will end at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Registration will be offered the day of the race – opening at 5:30 a.m. and closing at 6:45 a.m. We encourage all racers to arrive early.

CHIP TIMING

Sunrise Sunset uses disposable chips so deposits on chips are not required. The chips are attached to the back of your bike number so it’s very important that you do not fold or bend your bib. If the antennae is broken, the chip will not record your time.

POST RACE BBQ & BEER GARDEN

The event will supply complimentary refreshments and tasty bbq to all registered riders.  Friends and family may purchase additional meal tickets on site and partake in the feast.

FURRY FRIEND POLICY

Please keep in mind pets at events are becoming an increasing problem. We strongly urge you to leave your pet at home during this event, as the environment will not be super conducive for your furry friends. Please inform your friends and family about this policy as well. If you still choose to bring a pet, they are to be leashed at all times as this is state law. If any pet causes a problem on the course, the pet and its owner will be asked to leave for the duration of the event. Petswill not be allowed in the finisher party area due to health codes and food service. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
