Who I Am
I never used to be about this pedaling stuff; in fact, similarly to every downhill racer nowadays I come from a history of Motocross. Starting from when I was 4 years old, my dad put me on my first dirt bike, a Yamaha PW50, and refused to let me use training wheels. Progressing up through the ranks I found much success in this sport, winning two championships in 2013; all my life revolved around racing dirt bikes. That was all taken away from me in 2014 when I had a horrific crash in which I shattered my foot. After two surgeries, a year of recovery, and one more crash I knew I had to hang up the towel. It was about this time when I ran into Jesus, and my identity quickly changed from a sport, to the creator. He has given me this amazing gift to ride two wheels, but I know his blessing has been set upon racing mountain bikes instead. It is for this reason I am here today, with the talent I have been given and hope to demonstrate through Christ that I have any shot at making it huge in this industry. Last year was my first year of full commitment, and I experienced one of the most fun and exciting years of racing yet. I am promptly looking forward to the 2018 season, I know it is going to be a good one, and with the help of this amazing team I have high sights for the future.
